Programme

Via ferrata Hluboká is a secured route over the Vltava River. You can choose an easy route for beginners, or a very challenging one for experienced and strong climbers.

On the other side of the river you will find a new via ferrata of difficulty B/C, the advantage is easy access by car from Hluboká nad Vltavou or from Purkarka. The first mentioned via ferratas A and B are more difficult to access. You can get to the boarding points by water (boat rental on Hluboká) or on the cycle path from Purkarka, approx. 4 kilometers. Please note that Ferrata B of difficulty C/D is really very demanding and intended only for experienced climbers.

Requirements

Via ferrata equipment (helmet, save set and carabiners) is required for climbing on a secured route. For beginners, or when choosing a more demanding route, we recommend the odsedka. You can find the rental office here.

Weather

Enter only in good weather without rain, the secured route will be significantly more difficult in the wet.

The via ferrata is available at any time throughout the year.
